Governors' Policy Statement on Inclusion

The Governing body believes that all children have the right to learn together and play together. Each child is valued as an individual and will be offered all the opportunities that the school has to offer, academically and socially and where necessary, enhanced provision including additional support.

Randal Cremer Primary School is committed to inclusion and its importance in helping children to develop relationships and prepare them for adult life in the community. This is reflected throughout:
  • The ethos of the school;
  • Its systems and structures;
  • Appropriate modifications to the building;
  • The deployment of support staff
  • The professional development of both the teaching and support staff.
Our commitment to inclusion is at the heart of equal opportunities. The Inclusion Policy, (as well as other school policies), is available on request from the school office or the headteacher.
