Sport Relief 2016

Sport Relief 2016

On Friday, children and staff took part in a 1 mile challenge for Sport Relief. The mile run was completed successfully by all pupils and the majority of the adults that took part!

Early Years took part in an obstacle course which was put together by the PE coaches and Kim Lambden, who works with young children to improve their motor skills.

Children dressed up in their sportswear and brought in donations which will go straight to the charity. The amount raised from the donations was £129.33! In addition to this, Dilayda and Safia managed to raise £65.21 for their sponsored silence which took the total amount to £194.54 – well done girls! Thank you to parents/carers for all donations and all members of staff for helping out on the day.

Special thanks to Julia Barrett, Kim Sanett, Natasha Hambrook, Kathy Ahmed, Georgina Johnson and Kim Lambden for organising the day and ensuring that it was a huge success.
