Yr 4 Caledonian Road
My favourite childhood book was ‘Down With Skool’ by Geoffrey Willans and Ronald Searle. It was a guide to school life as told by a lazy pupil, Nigel Molesworth and I enjoyed its comedic poor spelling and punctuation as well as its amusing illustrations.
Ryan Doherty – Class Teacher
Yr 5 Canada Water
My favourite childhood book was The Witches by Roald Dahl.
One book that stands out to me from childhood is The Lottie Project by Jaqueline Wilson. I remember reading this book in Year 5 when we learnt about Victorian Britain and I loved how this novel included elements of Victorian history. This book definitely sparked my love for History and I still have my copy to this day!

My favourite book when I was a child would have to be Handa’s Surprise.
