Forest School

We have now started our weekly Forest School sessions in Reception class, where children have been provided with the opportunity to further develop their outdoor skills and knowledge.

We will be exploring the Flora and Fauna through all our senses and we will be creating our own Bug hotel, stories, sculptures, mud paintings and much much more.

The Forest school sessions allow the children to become more independent and it allows them to explore their own interests and therefore deepen their own understanding about themselves and their environment. We hope to provide every child with 6 weekly sessions which will each be centered around a particular object or topic such as sound or storytelling.
